On February 8, 2014 Gobin Persaud, Sandan, whom introduced Ohshima Shotokan Karate on Curacao and the former Netherlands Antilles, and member of the Shotokan Karate of America, ex-dojo leader, teacher and friend, passed away. He was a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioner. He left a wife, a son and a daughter behind. He was 59 years of age. May his soul rest in Peace.
